New interpretation & translation languages page
The first stage of updates began in earnest today with amendments to the translations page, interpretation page and the addition of a Unicode translation languages page. What is special about these updates is they mark the first step into converting the whole manchestertranslations website into 100% Unicode / xhtml compliant code.
At first glance this may not seem much, but in terms of communicating with as many people as possible, the Unicode character sets enable us to translate websites into the majority of world languages without having to use images for some of the less supported languages. The xhtml, once put in place will we hope, give us better accessibility to all types of browser.
It's times like this that users of the website are very important. No matter how much we try and how many different browsers and operating systems we attempt to run in our offices, there will always be problems. If you have any difficulties viewing this website, either with accessing certain pages or information, or if you are unable to view certain foreign languages on the site, please contact us immediately so that we can correct this and hopefully, improve the web site.
